Coastweek--
Eye Camp was held at Bamba Primary
School and Kibao Kiche Primary School sponsored by Mr. Devshi
Halai and Praful Halai of Vescon Construction Limited.
Over 500 patients were screened and
medicines dispensed free of charge.
Seventy readers were dispensed with 26
cataract surgeries were performed also free of charge at the
Lions Medical centre.
The surgeries were performed by Dr.
Margaret.
All surgery patients were accommodated
and operated and were returned back to their destination by
donor cost.
The Lions Medical centre thanked Mr.
Vinod Dattani, co-ordinator and donors Mr. Devshi Halai and Mr.
Praful Halai for the ‘gift of sight’ to the needy and under
privilege of our society. |
