Kenyan Girls at Everest Camp

Kenyan Girls at Everest Base Camp with Kenya Flag | Coastweek

.

During the Hindu Navaratri festival, celebrating the Divine Mother’s feminine dynamism and prowess, two young Kenyan ladies, Cheenar Shah (26 years) and Ananka Shah (23 years), set off on a strenuous trek to the Everest Base Camp. This was a test of their feminine physical endurance, emotional perseverance and intellectual resolve. Not only did they reach the base camp, proudly hoisting the Kenyan flag in memory of our Heroes on Mashujaa Day, but they were even more inspired and determined to trek onward for another week. We salute these young courageous ladies for their zeal and fervor in inspiring other women and youth to rise above mundane and material aims and pursue selfless, challenging and galvanizing ideals for the betterment of environment, country and society.
