GIZA (Xinhua) -- Archeologists lift a 26-meters-long wooden part of the second solar boat of Pharaoh Khufu while some archaeologists work on parts of the second solar boat at the restoration laboratory located in Giza, Egypt on March 29, 2017. Egypt opened its largest on-site antiquities laboratory to restore Pharaoh Khufu’s second solar boat. King Khufu was a famous fourth dynasty Pharaoh who built the great Khufu Pyramid. His solar boat was designed to ferry him to the afterlife according to ancient Egyptian beliefs. The second solar boat of King Khufu was detected in 1987 in a large pit to the west of the first solar boat. Both boats lie on the southern side of the Khufu Pyramid at Giza. TSHOLOTSHO (Xinhua) -- A local resident looks at a damaged wardrobe destroyed by floods as children queue to receive food at the Sipepa village Camp in Tsholotsho, Matabeleland North Province, Zimbabwe, March 26, 2017. Heavy rains that were worsened by Cyclone Dineo left 271 people dead, 128 injured and nearly 2,000 homeless. The deaths were caused by lightning strikes, drowning and landslides, according to the Civil Protection Unit, which added that nearly 2,600 homesteads were damaged in varying degrees. Tsholotsho was the worst affected district where a total of 859 people were left homeless and are currently in a transit camp and an additional 100 households remain at risk.  XinhuA PHOTOS

To make the exercise as realistic as possible, a sailor from ESPS Galicia acted as an injured seafarer who needed to be airlifted aboard in order to receive urgent medical attention.
