Rotary Club of Diani Conquers Mount Kilimanjaro to Raise Funds | Coastweek

Rotary Club of Diani current president Ms. Wambui Ngunya along with past president Mr. Vickram Korla made it to Uhuru Peak, Mount Kiliminjaro, Tanzania at 10.10 am on 23rd October 2018. The climb to the Kiliminjaro summit was attempted on behalf of the Rotary Club of Diani to raise funds towards buying books, classroom furniture and related equipment for Schools in Kwale District where the Club is located. It was a 6 day, 80 km round trip on the highest free standing mountain in the world and the tallest mountain in Africa at 5895 meters. At the summit Wambui and Vickram walked into minus 15 degrees Celsius and a snow storm. But they made it!.

KCPE Examinations Rehearsals | Coastweek

MOMBASA (Xinhua) — Inmates take part in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations rehearsals at Shimo la Tewa Maximum Prison in Mombasa, Oct. 29, 2018.
