Free water borehole project in Watamu | Coastweek


Free water borehole project was donated by members of Baladia Gnati Mandal at Watamu, Kilifi County under the community of Shree Cutchi Leva Patel Samaj, Mombasa. Around 60 members of the community attended the Mega opening function which was initiated by religious prayers by the Temple priest. They were entertained by acrobat show dynamic that had come all the way from Ukunda and around 500 villagers attended to witness the occasion and they were given food packets and around 400 children were provided with juice and biscuits. The villagers thanked the donors and Mr. Vinod Dattani for coordinating the project. Members of Baladia Gnati Mandal who are donors, Community members of Shree Cutchi Leva Patel ZSamaj Mombasa and Project co-ordinator Vinod Dattani.

 

National Boxing League | Coastweek


A rare gesture when Kisumu County Boxing Association Chairman Antony Otieno Ombok alias Jamal [with cap] shakes hands with his Nairobi counterpart Kenneth “Kentrack” Otieno during the third leg of the National Boxing League held at Uwanja Wa Mbuzi Sports Ground in Nyali Constituency. Both had pitched camp in the coast region in an intensified campaign for the presidency of the Boxing Association of Kenya to succeed John Kameta.

World Taekwondo Demonstration | Coastweek


Taekwondo players from the coast region practice ahead of this year’s World Taekwondo Demonstration to be held outside the Mombasa county assembly open grounds in Mvita constituency.
