LUSAKA Zambia (Xinhua) --
Immigration authorities in Zambia on Saturday
turned back a renowned professor from Kenya who was scheduled to
attend a public forum organized by a private university.
Patrick Lumumba, a
law professor, was turned back at Kenneth Kaunda International
Airport in Lusaka, the Zambian capital, when he arrived around
Spokesperson Dora Siliya confirmed the development on her
Twitter account, saying he was denied entry due to security
“Immigration is a
security wing working within and outside Zambia,” she said.
Lumumba was put in
another plane headed for Kenya.
