Baby Luvuno, a two year
old, who was born blind due to cataract and corneal
opacity in both the eyes, underwent cataract surgery
with lens implant and corneal transplant at the Lions
Eye Hospital, Mombasa by Dr. Gokhale. Seen is Baby
Luvuno with her parents and Dr. Vishwanatha N. Gokhale
and Dr. Sandhya Gokhale, Consultant Eye Surgeons at the
Lions Eye Hospital.

bike ride from Nairobi to Mombasa. The event which was
sponsored by Travellers beach Hotel, Club and Spa among
others was organized by UK based Charity organization,
Raha International , that supports education for the
needy children in Kenya. The group departed from Nairobi
for Mombasa at dawn on Friday August 24th, 2018 to raise
the balance of 10,000 sterling pounds of their targeted
100,000 sterling pounds (Ksh 12.5 Million).
