for operation of TAH (Total Abdominal Hysterectomy) +
BSO (Bilateral Salpingo Ophrectomy). This unique
operation was performed by Consultant Gynacologist Dr.
Faiza Nassir. The cost of bed, drugs and theatre charges
were Sh25,000. Rukiya’s son Mr. Said explained that they
had no other source of income and was very grateful and
thanked the Indian Association for saving his mother’s
