India Association Sponsored The Cost Of Operation | Coastweek


India Association Managing Trustee Vinod Dattani and Trustee Amit Bhudeo sponsored the cost of operation at Coast Province General Hospital for the 69-year-old woman Mrs. Rukia Said who was suffering from ovarian mass and scheduled for operation of TAH (Total Abdominal Hysterectomy) + BSO (Bilateral Salpingo Ophrectomy). This unique operation was performed by Consultant Gynacologist Dr. Faiza Nassir. The cost of bed, drugs and theatre charges were Sh25,000. Rukiya’s son Mr. Said explained that they had no other source of income and was very grateful and thanked the Indian Association for saving his mother’s life.
