Free Borehole in Vipingo Donated By Mrs Kaml Kaushik | Coastweek

A free water bore hole in Vipingo was donated by Mrs Kaml Kaushik who was born in Kenya but is settled in the UK. She still holds Kenya and people of Kenya at heart and had wanted to give back to th community. Seen are Tony D’Silva, Mrs Shashi D’Silva, Miss Sangita, Mrs Kiran Sabharwal (partly hidden), Mr and Mrs Kariuki, Mrs Sheela Soni, Mrs Kaml Kaushik, Mrs Kalpana Aggarwal, Dr Lata Magon and Vinu Dattani.

Hotpoint Appliances Donates Electronic Appliances to Dandora II Health Center | Coastweek

On 13th June, Hotpoint CSR staff visited Dandora II Health Centre located in Dandora where they donated electronic appliances that includes; Television Set, Refrigerator and Gas Cooker to the maternity wing. According to Jared Mogaka who is in charge of the facility, they normally receive approximately 20 expectant mothers monthly.

LECOL team building day | Coastweek

LECOL had a fun filled team building day at the Reef Hotel Mombasa on the 23rd June 2018. Where the staff participated in great team building events.

Mombasa Lohana Ladies celebrate Purshottam Maas | Coastweek

To celebrate the religious Purshottam Maas the Mombasa Lohana Ladies wing have kindly donatedx household and food items such s blankets and kerosine cooking stoves to 100 head of family members and around 800 family members will benefit from this project. The distribution centre was at Bodol village in Kikambala and the beneficiaries had come walking some five to 8 kilometers from their places to collect the said items. They can utilise these blankets to sleep comfortably and keep them warm and the kerosene cooking stove will make cooking easier. The beneficiaries and donors were very happy and thanked Mr Vionod Dattani for organising this event. Last but not least, a hearty congratulations to the Mombasa Lohana Ladies wing. Seen [from left] Vinod Dattani, Priya Majithia, Sujata Kotecha, Sona Ghelani, Hon Mwingo, Sonal Sadrani, Gita Mashru, Nirali Mashru and some of the beneficiaries.

WUHAN (Xinhua) — A railway executive from Kenya experiences a simulation of high-speed train driving at a training base for high-speed railway staff in Wuhan, central China’s Hubei Province, June 12, 2018. Altogether 63 railway executives from 13 countries including Thailand, Sri Lanka and Laos visited the training base Tuesday.

NAIROBI (Xinhua) -- Cuban doctors arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi. The first batch of 50 out of 100 Cuban doctors arrived in the country on Tuesday night amid controversy surrounding their pay. They were received by Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o.
