Bandari Pitted Against Nakumatt In KPL Match

Coastweek -- Bandari FC who is doing well this season will be away to Machakos Kenya-tta Stadium on Sunday where they play Nakumatt in a Kenya Premier League match the Coastal team is hotly favoured to emerge victors.

Bandari, the only team from Coast Region in the country’s top league needs to win this game to increase their hopes of jumping up the ladder.

They have a formidable outfit that can beat any team including the league leaders Gor Mahia.

Last weekend, Bandari managed to snatch maximum three points against AFC Leopards 1-0 with the lone goal scored by Boniface Akenga in the second half.

Meanwhile, Bomani Youth stunned Taita Taveta All Stars to end their  four match unbeaten record when they beat them 1-0 in a National Division Two League match at Kireme ground.

Muhsin Mohammed scored the all-important goal for the hosts in the 8th minute. All Stars returned home with three points earned after beating Zambarani 0-1 at Gede primary the previous day.

Despite the loss, Taita Taveta All Stars are placed at the podium of the table with10 points from three wins and one draw.

Taita Taveta play host to Taveta Sisal in an explosive derby on Tuesday at Dawson Mwanyumba Wundayi Stadium.

The other produced shock results came at Lango Baya ground where Maji Bombers upset the form book when they beat Breeze Ham by a solitary goal thanks to a 36th minute strike by Jackson Karisa.

Previously Breeze Ham had three wins registered following 1-4 triumph over Sparki Young-sters, 2-1 win against Congo Boys and 0-1 win over Nyota.

With the results, Breeze Ham is placed second with nine points from four matches.

Breezeham entertain Tsunami in their next league match at Timboni Magarini tomorrow.

Nyota bounced back to shine over Sandoki United following a  2-5 triumph in a match played at Kwa Ndomo ground in Malindi.
