Mambrui Welfare Group Relief Food Distribution | Coastweek


Mambrui Welfare Group carried out a relief food distribution program on 19th February 2017 to the Boni community. This community village is located around 20km interior from Witu on the way to Lamu. The people there are suffering from food shortage. They eat one meal a day. They survive on wild nuts and berries. Mambrui welfare group appreciates the support of all its donors and well wishers especially Mr. Hassan Al Beity who provided the logistical support and assistance to the group. Fire Burns Down Houses in Ganjoni | Coastweek

Smoke engulfs a twenty storey building which was under construction off-Moi Avenue where one of the workers was trapped inside the building for almost three hours. Three more houses adjacent and opposite the building were also burnt down.
