NAIROBI (Xinhua) --
Some 16 million shares worth 5.1 million U.S. dollars were traded at
the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) Friday, down from 31 million
shares worth 7.1 million dollars the previous trading day.
The leading telecom, usually a top trader, underperformed for the
second consecutive trading session moving 4.9 million shares at 0.18
dollars to end up as the second most traded share.
The top traded stock was Equity Bank, which moved 5.7 million shares
most of which were foreign buys.
Kenya Airways and investment firm ICDC came in third and fourth
respectively after moving 1.4 million and 1.3 million shares
